Bowing low

In the face of disagreement with God and temptation to look for natural solutions for our needs and problems, we could find ourselves growing hard toward God. Psalm 95 gives us the crucial importance of humility where he is our only source of breakthrough. “Come and kneel before this creator-God,” it says. Set him in his rightful position with a clean heart and right spirit.

“For we are the lovers he cares for and he is the God we worship.”

1 Peter 5 says, “If you bow low in God’s awesome presence, he will eventually exalt you as you leave the timing in his hands. Pour out all your worries and stress upon him and leave them there, for he always tenderly cares for you.”

As we hear his heart for us today, may we respond with appropriate faith, worship and humility. He is the answer when we can hear what he’s saying.
