Chosen

“And he chose us to be his very own, joining us to himself even before he laid the foundation of the universe! Because of this great love, he ordained us, so that we would be seen in his eyes with unstained innocence.” (Eph.1:4, TPT)

“I choose you,” are the words that Papa spoke about us before time began. He sees in us what we often struggle to comprehend. What does he see? Our unstained innocence. He sees us without defect or blemish. When we beat ourselves up for shortfalls in any area, he’s saying, “I got you covered. I chose you. Child, you belong to me.”

Our confident identity is in what he speaks about us. It just takes a moment to step across the line of doubt and believe. Our identity is what Papa says we are. He’s never wrong.
